This privacy policy ("Policy") is effective as of April 15, 2024.
This Policy describes the information Employment Screening Plus, LLC (dba EV3 Global) and its clients ("EV3", "we," "us" or "our") collect from you via this web site and associated Applications ("App" or "Apps"), and how we use and share such information. This Policy does not govern how information is used by parties that we do not control or by individuals who we do not employ. If you visit a website or app that we mention or link to, be sure to review their privacy policy.
Personally Identifiable Information
There are limited pieces of information in this Policy that we collect from you that is considered "Personally Identifiable Information," or "PII". These are your name, your email address, your telephone numbers, your picture if you upload it directly to us, and your unique mobile device ID number. We take our collection of PII and your privacy expectations very seriously, and therefore have very restrictive rules for handling, using and sharing this information, as described in this Policy. It is up to you whether to disclose PII to us, although if you do not do so, certain products and services may not be available for your use.
Anonymous information
We also collect information about the use of the App which does not reveal your identity. This information includes browser and device information, information collected through cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies, and demographic information and other non-identifying information provided by you such as a zip code or general geographic area.
How we may use your information
There are multiple ways we use your information to provide the best service possible to you. In doing so, we may use your PII and other information to draw your attention to issues in which we believe you may be interested, and to communicate directly with you through email, via our apps, or in your usage of our services. Here are some examples of the ways we might use your information:
- We use your information to communicate directly and provide to you information regarding our services and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
- We use your information for data analysis, developing new services, enhancing, improving or modifying our platform, identifying usage trends, and determining the effectiveness of campaigns.
- We use information about your computer or device to ensure that our site, apps and APIs function properly and are optimized for your computer or device.
- If you are using our application from a mobile device, we use your device ID to recognize you when you use the application and to store your preferences and settings.
- We use cookies, pixel tags and other tracking technologies to measure and improve our services and develop features and functionalities on our sites, apps and APIs. For example, if we see that people are using a certain device use the platform the most, we might decide to build our tailor our services specifically for that device.
- We use cookies, pixel tags and other tracking technologies to improve the relevance of our marketing campaigns and those of our advertisers and organizations. For example, if you voted on a bill regarding the protection of animal rights, you may subsequently see sponsored campaigns from animal protection organizations.
- We use IP Addresses for administration and security purposes, such as calculating usage levels of our sites, apps and API, helping diagnose server problems and detecting fraud and spam behavior.
- We may use and share aggregated and anonymized information to better understand and serve our users or for optimization of our marketing and ad targeting efforts.
Who may receive your PII
- We may share information about you with our services providers who process information to provide services to us or on your behalf. We have contracts with our service providers that prohibit them from sharing your information with anyone else or from using your information for any purposes other than providing contracted services.
- We may disclose the personal information we collect about our users when we believe disclosure is necessary to investigate, prevent, or respond to suspected illegal or fraudulent activity or to protect the safety, rights, or property of us, our users, or others.
- If requested or required by government authorities, such as law enforcement authorities, courts, or regulators, or otherwise to comply with the law, we may have to disclose any information we have about our users. We also may disclose information collected about you in order to exercise or protect legal rights or defend against legal claims.
Opting Out
- If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails from us or our affiliate companies going forward, you may opt out of receiving these by following the instructions contained in any such email or by clicking "unsubscribe" from the footer of our emails.
- We will comply with your request(s) as soon as it is reasonably practicable. Please also note that if you do opt out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages (such as updates about your account or service changes), and you cannot opt out from receiving these messages.

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Notice to California users
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) goes into effect on January 1, 2020. The Act grants "consumers" (any California resident regardless of whether there is a customer or any other relationship with Countable) five new rights respecting their personal information. "Consumer" means a natural person who is a California resident, as defined in Section 17014 of Title 18 of the California Code of Regulations, as that section read on September 1, 2017, however identified, including by any unique identifier.
The first is your right to request disclosure of EV3's data collection and sales practices in connection with yourself, including the categories of personal information EV3 has collected, the source of the information, your use of the information, and, if the information was disclosed or sold to third parties, the categories of personal information disclosed or sold to third parties and the categories of third parties to whom such information was disclosed or sold.
The second is your right to request a copy of the specific personal information collected about you, by EV3, during the 12 months before your request. The third is your right to have such information deleted, to which EV3 must respond within 45 days. The fourth is your right to request that your personal information not be sold to third parties, if applicable (as outlined in this privacy policy). And the fifth is your right not to be discriminated against because you exercised any of these rights. All CCPA requests pursuant to this App should be sent directly by email to ccpa@ev3global.io.
Notice to European Union users
Our operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) to the United States. By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described herein.
Information collected from children
You must be at least 18 years old to use our applications and services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as we deem necessary or appropriate because of legal compliance requirements or changes in our business practices. If you have provided us with an email address, we will endeavor to notify you, by email to that address, of any material change to how we will use personally identifiable information.
